Sports are a great way to encourage (If you encourage someone, you give them confidence), physical activity in children, but a one-size-fits-all( standard )approach doesn't always work. Before putting children in sports, you should take their age and interests into consideration. This may be difficult when multiple (various)children are involved ( necessary part of something) or , but it will be worth( have value)the effort ( energy that is needed to do something)(to find a sport that each child will thrive in( be successful)and enjoy. Here's a list of the best sports for children according to their age. The best sports for children ages 2 to 5 years old Young children are starting to perfect their fundamental movements. Still, they are usually not advanced enough to participate in many organized sports. The best sports and physical activities for toddlers(a toddler is a child from 12 to 36 months old). and pre-schoolers(a child who is not old enough to go to school). involve those that incorporate free play. Activities such as kicking a soccer ball, running in the park and climbing in a playground are all excellent options for this age group. Other ideal choices include dance classes, tumbling (perform acrobatic feats) class (floor work only) and riding a tricycle or bicycle. Training wheels (a pair of small supporting wheels of a child's bicycle). are usually needed until children are at least 5 years old.
